James 1:26, “If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.” Christians should not be duplicity, they should be careful about their words and deeds, and think about whether to follow God's teachings daily. An important part of our discipleship training in the Lord Jesus is to sanctify our hearts, words and deeds. If there are believers who are accustomed to telling lies, they have not been born again and saved.
