Daily Scripture Meditation

Is. 54:4, “Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood anymore.” People have a deep memory of shame; and the ultimate shame is their grief in God's judgment. But as long as we are engaged in the embrace of our Savior Jesus, His humiliation on the cross will comfort our soul, and his glory will lift us into a new eternal realm.
