Mal. 2:16, “For the LORD, the God of Israel, saith that he hateth putting away: for one covereth violence with his garment, saith the LORD of hosts: therefore take heed to your spirit, that ye deal not treacherously.” God created Adam and Eve and established the first family. He took care of the happiness of human marriage and family, and was angry with sins that endanger the family. When people have the new life in the Lord, they must use their family life as the salt and the light to shine for the Lord.
