1 Thess. 1:1-2, “Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, unto the church of the Thessalonians which is in God the Father and in the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ. We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers.” The feature of the church of God is that the spiritual lives of the saints live in the united life of the Holy Father, the Holy Son and the Holy Spirit. They intercede and encourage each other, and all grow up in the Lord and shine for the Lord.
