Daily Scripture Meditation

Is. 30:20, “And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall not thy teachers be removed into a corner any more, but thine eyes shall see thy teachers.” The most painful moment in life is the cruelty and shame of Jesus' crucifixion. When we are willing to take up the cross and walk on the difficult and narrow road that is not part of the world, we can feel the peace and joy that bears a yoke with the Lord in the fullness of the Holy Spirit, and life sublimates into the glory of God.
