Acts 4:13-14, “Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marveled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus. And beholding the man which was healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it.” Our courage to telling the gospel comes from God's presence and the authority of Truth. In the early church God used signs and miracles to help His disciples to confirm the Word of the Lord, to shame those who exalted themselves, and to cause those who were surprised to ponder.
