Daily Scripture Meditation

1 John 2:10-11, “He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him. But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes.” The contrast between love and hate bears witness to the difference between true belief and false belief, and also reflects the state of life. Only when we demonstrate the friendly words and deeds of loving each other in the Lord, can we work with God's love to build up the all members of the Lord.
