Daily Scripture Meditation

Jer. 2:13, “For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.” The cisterns refer to artificial religious rules and customs. Some believers today do not pursue the truth, not even live out the truth, but enjoy religious ritual and activities at club-style churches. A false Christian without a new life in the Lord cannot walk with God to enter the new heavens and the new earth.
