Rev. 1:8, “I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.” Jesus' announcement to John, like the teachings of the Lord to the prophets, reveals the same divine nature of the Triunity God. It is also a warning to believers and heretics who misunderstand or distort Jesus' divinity. Only by fully convinced the divine nature of the Lord Jesus and fearing His teachings can we follow His example.
