Ps. 139:23-24, “Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.” The battle between spirit and body in the temptation of the world is where God tries and inspects us. God knows everything about us and uses Jesus truth and the Holy Spirit to help us to clear away the evil thoughts in our hearts, so that we can live out a holy life to glorify God.
