Joel 2:13, “And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God; for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil.” To confess sin and repent is not only speech, expression, and external forms, but also the true repentance from the heart, manifested in our actual actions of departing from sins. Thus, we may experience God's grace and love in our new life.
