1 Tim. 1:8, “But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully.” Today some believers only emphasize the law and ignore the inner life. Some people criticize the legalism but do not understand the new life in the Lord. Jesus came to fulfill the law by guiding believers to renew their lives from the heart and to pursue holiness. In this way they are no longer bound by the sins recognized by the law, and use the commandments of God to preach the truth of repentance.
