Matt. 6:34, “Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.” Faith lives today, hope is for tomorrow, worry ought to be thrown into the past. When we live in the Word of God, we can enjoy the peace and joy from the Lord Jesus. If we worry about tomorrow or next year, the spiritual mind may be entangled in the burden, unable to pray to God; as a result, it is difficult for us to carry up the cross to follow our Lord.
